Terri Nealon Caputo Receives K. Bruce Sherbine Penn State Pride Award

Theresa "Terri" Nealon Caputo, Moscow, an admissions counselor at Penn State Worthington Scranton, is the 2008 recipient of the campus's K. Bruce Sherbine Penn State Proud Award.

This award recognizes a member of the campus community whose demonstrated qualities of leadership, scholarship and citizenship have been directed into programs and services on the campus and/or in the community that have positively influenced students and employees, and have contributed to the prestige and well-being of Penn State Worthington Scranton, as well as Penn State University as a whole.

Dr. Mary-Beth Krogh-Jespersen, chancellor, presented Ms. Caputo with her award during a special awards dinner held recently at the campus and several of Ms. Caputo's co-workers from the college's student and enrollment services department were also present to see her accept her award.

In addition to admissions counseling and activities, Ms. Caputo helps to coordinate the campus's Fall and Spring open houses and administers the campus's Penn Stater For A Day and High School Scholars programs.
