Campus inducts twelve new members into prestigious Ridge View Society

Penn State Worthington Scranton recently held its annual Ridge View Society Dinner, inducting 12 new members into this prestigious group of generous campus benefactors.

The dinner also served as a celebration of the conclusion of the University's For the Future - The Campaign For Penn State Students, a seven-year campaign, during which the campus raised over $6.7 million for student scholarships, new facilities and campus improvements.

The 2014 Ridge View Society inductees are: Jerry and Cathy Champi; Dave and Deborah Johnson; Kimberly Kingsley; Ed, Jr. and Judy Lucy; Ann Jennings McDonough; Mark Pickenheim; Todd Sloan; and Alan and Dayna Weissberger.

The Ridge View Society was established in 2000 to recognize Penn State Worthington Scranton's generous benefactors. Since its inception, it has grown to 146 members, whose kindness has significantly helped the campus by providing scholarship support; new and upgraded facilities; academic and co-curricular program support; The Student Hardship Fund; and other areas of importance.
