Kelly Kilcoyne, an RN to BSN nursing student at Penn State Worthington Scranton, was the Associate Degree recipient of a Nightingale Awards of Pennsylvania scholarship.
She was one of only eight recipients in the state to receive one of these scholarships. Recipients were honored at the 25th Annual Gala on October 24, 2014 at the Radisson Penn Harris Hotel & Convention Center in Camp Hill.
Nightingale Awards of Pennsylvania is a statewide, non-profit foundation created to help recruit and retain nursing professionals. It is governed by a 24 member volunteer Board of Trustees, consisting of individuals who are leaders in nursing, business, industry, and other health care fields.
To achieve its objectives, the foundation has established a scholarship fund and awards program.
