Penn State Scranton student leader Zamarra Vrabel organized a Lunch and Learn event for students about the importance and benefits of getting involved in extracurricular activities on campus. Her presentation, "Why Should I Get Involved?" was attended by over 50 students and was a precursor to the campus' Club Fair on Thursday, Sept. 4 and Friday, Sept. 5 from noon to 1 p.m. in The View Cafe. Students interested in learning more about student clubs and activities are encouraged to attend the event to talk to club members.
During the 2024 fall semester, students gathered at Old Main to create a 9/11 memorial consisting of 2,977 American flags. The event was hosted by Penn State's College Republicans and all students, faculty and staff were welcome to participate.

Control rooms that are adjacent to most specialty unit sim labs, are for observation and recording of clinical simulations, which are used for reflection and debriefing of the students' interactions during the simulations.
