Quinnlan Speckhardt, a recent business graduate, completed an internship at the Penn State Scranton LaunchBox this spring, where he oversaw everything from facility maintenance to client meetings as well as administrative tasks. The experience has prepared him for his new role working with the regional economic development organization, NEPA Alliance.

Penn State Scranton received a $1,700 grant from the Scranton Area Foundation to continue funding a training program for teachers, staff and administrators in nine local school districts, which will help them recognize and better serve students with special needs.
