Penn State Scranton nursing student earns first place at research symposium

Braedon Joyce, a fourth-year bachelor of science in nursing student in the Ross and Carol Nese College of Nursing at Penn State Scranton, earned first place in the student poster competition at the ninth annual Translating Research into Innovations in Practice Symposium. Joyce was the only undergraduate student presenting at the event.

IT instructor earns best in track at international conference

Penn State Scranton Lecturer of Information Sciences and Technology Fred Aebli’s contribution to the Online Learning Consortium Accelerate 2025 Conference — “How ChatGPT Turned My Final Exams Into AI-Powered Learning Labs" — received a Best-in-Track designation in the Innovative and Effective Digital Learning Design track.

ICDS Symposium spotlights student, faculty research

The Penn State Institute for Computational and Data Sciences Symposium was held on Monday, Oct. 6, in HUB-Robeson Center at Penn State University Park. The annual event brought together University faculty and students with industry experts to foster meaningful conversations and collaborations around applying artificial intelligence, machine learning, and computational, data and quantum sciences methodologies to research.
