The Division of Undergraduate Studies encourages students to explore options and meet their academic potential through well-informed educational planning and meaningful experiences such as internships, education abroad, public scholarship, research, and student organizations.
The DUS is Penn State's enrollment unit for students who want to explore the University's academic opportunities or are considering a variety of majors at Penn State. Students also enroll in DUS if they feel sure about the major they want but need time to complete entrance requirements. Advisers guide students toward informed educational decisions by helping them explore majors and meet requirements along the way.
