Biography
Kelly Ankenbrand, MBA, serves as the Market Chief Executive Officer for Geisinger Behavioral Health Center – Northeast and Geisinger Behavioral Health Center – Danville, two 96-bed freestanding inpatient and outpatient facilities located in Moosic and Danville, PA.
Kelly began her career as a crisis clinician in local emergency departments before moving into progressive leadership roles, including Vice President of Behavioral Health Services for Commonwealth Health Network in Northeastern Pennsylvania. For more than 25 years, she has been instrumental in advancing access to high-quality psychiatric care across both community and hospital settings.
She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and English from Wilkes University and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Scranton. Beyond her executive role, Kelly is deeply engaged in her community. She has developed and led training initiatives to support First Responders in Luzerne and Wyoming Counties, serves as an associate of the Gruen-Gow Memorial CISM Team, is the current President of NAMI Northeast Region, and recently joined the Lackawanna College Nursing Advisory Board.
