We are constantly evolving to meet the challenges of a rapidly changing world, as can be evidenced by our growing Mechanical Engineering degree program and the recent improvements to, and expansion of, our Library and Nursing Suite’s labs and teaching spaces.
Our campus’s long-term strategic initiatives are thoughtfully designed to enrich the student educational experience, foster interdisciplinary collaboration and research, and broaden our institutional impact at the local, state, and national levels.
Whether it’s through undergraduate research; raising money to help fight pediatric cancer through THON; establishing degree programs tailored to meet the economic and workforce needs of our region; sending student and employee volunteers into the community to help non-profits and those less fortunate; or helping local entrepreneurs through our Scranton LaunchBox and Center for Business Development and Community Outreach, Penn State Scranton is engaged and committed being a partner and catalyst in northeast Pennsylvania.
