Tara Marta's work to be exhibited at Everhart Museum

Since graduating with her bachelor of arts in English from Penn State Scranton, Tara Marta has gone on to earn a master of arts in creative writing from Wilkes University and has been published 12 times. Recently, she had an essay featured in the anthology “I Am Strength,” a book that became a No. 1 new release in feminist theory on Amazon.com.

As student needs and study habits change, so does their campus library

Penn State Worthington Scranton’s library has been undergoing some changes this past  year. Along with a new paint job, a new group study lounge, and a new “hydration station” water fountain, the campus library also welcomed new Head Librarian Jennie Levine Knies, who has been busy implementing even more changes.

PSWS hosts Scranton Reads lecture on Marilynne Robinson's 'Gilead'

Penn State Worthington Scranton will host a lecture and discussion lead by Joseph Kraus, professor of English at The University of Scranton, at 12:15 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 18, in the campus' Business Building, Hawk Lecture Hall. He will be reading from Marilynne Robinson’s American Version of "Gilead." This event is free and open to the public, as well as the campus community.

Worthington Scranton's Corinne Nulton has short story published in new anthology

Corinne Alice Nulton, an academic adviser and adjunct English instructor at Penn State Worthington Scranton, recently had a short story published in "The Night Bazaar: Eleven Haunting Tales of Forbidden Wishes and Dangerous Desires," a new fantasy fiction anthology released by Northampton House Press.
