User Accounts:
Accounts to access software titles listed above and storage space on wsistdevel.sn.psu.edu will only remain active for the current semester. Requests for user accounts should be submitted to [email protected] by the instructor of record no later than two weeks prior to the start of the semester. Requests for accounts for students made during the semester take a minimum 3-5 business days to process. Accounts will only be created for users with valid PSU Access Accounts.
All requests should contain the following information:
· Valid PSU Access Account
· PSU ID #
· Course
· List of software the accounts would access/use
Accounts will be disabled seven days after the last day of finals for the semester in which they are active. Account holders are responsible for backing up their data prior to this day. Data may be retained after this day, but will not be guaranteed. The instructor requesting accounts must inform the IT department if a student drops the class during the semester.
Faculty may request an extension of the server account past the end of the semester by sending an email to [email protected], indicating the student's name, reasons for extension and how long to extend the server account. Extending the account should only be requested if absolutely needed.
Password Resets:
If a student requires a password to be reset, it is the responsibility of the student to contact the IT department to schedule an appointment. Students must bring a valid photo ID to have their password reset.
