Emergency Campus Closings

In the event of an unanticipated closing due to inclement weather or another emergency, you may obtain official information regarding the status of classes by listening to radio or television or checking our website.

Lost and Found

The Office of Police and Public Safety is also responsible for the maintenance of the campus lost and found. Items that are found or turned in are kept in the Police and Public Safety office on the first floor of the Student Learning Center.

It is recommended that books and valuables be clearly marked by putting a unique number or symbol on an interior page. Such markings help Security and the Bookstore easily identify lost or stolen items.

Sexual Harassment

There are trained sexual harassment contacts on campus. All matters discussed will be handled with discretion.

Crime Statistics

In accordance with the Campus Safety Act of 1990, a monthly Uniform Crime Report (UCR) is recorded with the Pennsylvania State Police. The UCR report is filled out with the Pennsylvania State Police via its website.

The annual reports can be viewed on the Penn State website at https://police.psu.edu/annual-security-reports. This site lists crime statistics for all Penn State campuses.
