Invent Penn State initiative awards four $50,000 seed grants to campuses

The Invent Penn State initiative announced the awarding of four $50,000 seed grants to develop additional innovation hubs to jump-start entrepreneurial activities in campus communities across the Commonwealth. Awarded by a competitive selection process, the four grants will go to the Brandywine, Fayette, Mont Alto and Worthington Scranton campuses.

Scranton-area Penn State alumni will host the 29th annual Penn State Worthington Scranton Alumni Society/James D. Gallagher Golf Tournament on June 19 at the Country Club of Scranton. The event is the organization's largest annual fundraiser and over the years has provided hundreds of thousands of dollars for student scholarships and special projects at the campus
